Congress threats Dharna against CAPD

UDHAMPUR: Congressmen will stage Dharna against CAPD if food grains in ration depots are not distributed smoothly, said Sumeet Magotra Senior Congress leader and State Secretary of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) during a press conference here at Udhampur. While addressing the media persons, Magotra criticised CAPD Department for not supplying food grains in ration depots resulting public in general getting inconvenienced. He disclosed that a deputation of Congressmen met TSO CAPD Udhampur in connection with distribution of ration who assured appropriate action.
Magotra said that deputation has given an ultimatum to the authority that if department is unable to distribute food grains in ration depots within 2-3 days then Congressmen will stage a Dharna against authorities concerned. Summet Magora also disclosed that deputation has also demanded to implement NFSA 56 CAPD-15 the same has a provision of 60 per cent Atta and 40 per cent wheat to be distributed and in this regard a memorandum shall be submitted to Governor for his kind intervention. Senior Citizens Gopal Khajuria, Ashok Sharma and A.K Bhan were also present on the occasion.
