CHANDIGARH: Terming the I.N.D.I Alliance as arrogant, National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Tarun Chugh on Sunday said that this alliance was like Pandora’s family, which was bound to disintegrate.
This alliance has no agenda in the interest of the country and is only an alliance of a few egoistic dynasts to bring a weak government in the country to save some corrupt families, he said while interacting with media persons.
Saying that the Congress looted the nation for decades, since independence, Chugh referred to the recovery of big cash haul by the Income Tax Department from Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu’s premises and observed that he achieves the distinction of being among most corrupt people so far. The Congress has been spreading corruption from one generation to another, he added.
Chugh said that the leaders of some opposition parties in the country are dreaming like Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne to become the Prime Minister. Their aim is only to bring a weak government in the country, so that they can use it for their own political gains.
He said that 135 crore people of the country love Prime Minister Narendra Modi immensely. The people of India have full faith in the strong and visionary leadership of Modji, who has hoisted the country’s flag on the world stage, he said.
The senior BJP leader said that under the leadership of Nrender Modi, every citizen of the country wants to be associated with the dream of a developed India. The Prime Minister has set the goal of making the country a developed India by 2047 and is determined to ensure the welfare of all four sections– the poor, women, youth and farmers, he maintained.
Taking dig at the INDI Alliance, Tarun Chugh said that this is actually an alliance formed out of compulsion. In Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, Congress and the Left parties are against each other, while these parties claim to be together in an arrogant alliance, he said.
Similarly, in Delhi and Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress do ‘Noora Kushti’ while in Delhi, senior leaders of Congress and AAP party embrace. This is an agenda of this alliance to fool the people, he said, adding that the compatriots will democratically reject this arrogant alliance in 2024, he added.
