BANI: President, District Congress Committee Kathua and former MLC, Subash Chander Gupta visited Bani Constituency and conducted a meeting of Congress workers of the Constituency on Sunday. He asked the people for giving decisive mandate to the Congress Party in the ongoing Assembly elections.
Gupta spoke about the Congress performance during the period of 2-1/2 years when the triple shift system was introduced by the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and corruption was brought to zero level during 2006 – 2008. He assured the people to strengthen the hands of Ghulam Nabi Azad so that not only Bani but the whole State of Jammu and Kashmir gets developed with the accelerated speed of triple shift.
Among those who also addressed the gathering include Surinder Singh Congress Party Observer for Bani- Basholi Constituencies and Takhur Dass President BCC Bani.
Prominent among those present were Suraj Padha, Adv. Pawan Babbar, Hans Raj Padha, Shiv Dev Singh, Ab Rashid Wani General Secretary BCC Bani and others.
