JAMMU: Referring to the happenings in the opening session of the J and K State Legislative Assembly which met here after a gap of almost six months, Brig Anil Gupta, State Spokesperson of BJP took to task the Congress legislators for joining hands with National Conference in disrespecting the National Anthem.
“Coming only a day after the State Accountability Commission had directed the CS to strictly implement the Flag Code of India across the State and ensure there is no disrespect to symbols of nationalism, the behaviour of opposition legislators wherein they wilfully insulted the National Anthem is highly deplorable,” said Brig Gupta.
Brig Gupta reminded all the opposition legislators not to forget that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and they have taken oath to uphold the sanctity of the Constitution.
