KATHUA: Jugal Kishore Sharma MLC and Former Minister , Subash Chander Gupta President District Congress Committee Kathua and Former MLC along with several other prominent leaders of Kathua District on Monday campaigned for Congress candidate in Kathua Assembly constituency Jatinder Singh.
In the meeting , Jatinder Singh made an appeal to people to give him mandate this time so that he can realise his dream of making Kathua Assembly Constituency a model in the entire State.
Addressing a large gathering in Kathua town Subash Chander Gupta asked the people to cast their votes in favour of the Congress in the name of unprecedented development experienced by the Jammu and Kashmir during the tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad as Chief Minister.
“Azad has proved his commitment during his tenure as Chief Minister of the State and as Union Health Minister by sanctioning various health institutions for different parts of the State. Only the Congress has a clear vision and road map for the prosperous and peaceful Jammu and Kashmir” he mentioned .
Jugal Kishore Sharma also shared various achievements during the two tenures of the UPA Government in the Center by introducing various welfare schemes for the benefit of common masses. He warned the people not be fooled by the hollow slogan of the BJP.
Prominent among those who also spoke on the occasion include Pankaj Dogra Working President, Naresh Sharma, Nirdosh Sharma and Narinder Khajuria.
