JAMMU: Claiming that BJP has a globally recognised leader and nation-wide acclaimed Prime Minister, party State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan said that on the contrary Congress has nothing to offer except false promises and misleading slogans and dynastic lineage.
In a press statement issued here on Monday, Balbir Ram Rattan said that BJP has Narendra Modi, the mass accepted leader and the party has been going to the public with the agenda of good and maximum governance with minimum government, development and justice to all, as against dynastic rule and corruption.
Modi’s creed of ‘Sab ka Saath Sab ka Vikas’ has proved to be the game changer and winner of hearts and souls of the 125 crore Indians, whereas Congress sans leadership and now virtually issueless and directionless left with just one sterile slogan—‘Priyanka Lao, Congress Bachao’.
“It has nothing for the people, their welfare and uplift or concern for the border people, refugees, internally displaced community or the weaker sections. The sole slogan, agenda and issue left with Congress is to promote the Gandhi family as its sheet anchor for its survival”, he said, adding, “As far as State of J and K is concerned, the Congress has always tied knots with the Kashmir-centric parties headed by single families of Kashmir just for the sake of power”.
He further said that a glance at the achievements and initiatives of the last five month rule of Narendra Modi led NDA has elaborately shown concern of PM for Jammu and Kashmir.
“So much of concern by Central Government in general and Prime Minister in particular for the comprehensive development of Jammu and Kashmir is one of the major cause that BJP is gaining popularity and also becoming a preferred choice for the people and the Congress is now becoming a deadwood”, Balbir concluded.
