JAMMU: Congress candidate for Marh Constituency, Balwan Singh while conducting door to door campaign at Camp Gol-Gujral, sought a decisive mandate from the people for Congress Party in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
Balwan Singh asserted it is the Congress-led government alone which has proved credentials of being pro-development and that it alone can meet the expectations of the people.
He also lambasted BJP for its inhuman approach in dealing with the issue of displaced persons of PoJK by saying that BJP Government in the Centre does not want to help these distressed people and is trying to sabotage the rehabilitation proposal submitted by the State Government.
Others who were present on the occasion include VIkram Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Mahinder Pal Singh (Ricky), Satinder Singh (Happy), Jasbir Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Bhagwant Singh, Vicky Angral, Jagdish Kumar Bhagat, Daljeet Singh and Sukhbinder Singh.
