STATE TIMES NEWS
DODA: Congress MLA from Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said that the party should have a distinctive identity at the grassroots level to make it the party of the future in Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing the gathering on his visit to Thathri, Phigsoo, Drasbshalla, Dadi Kathawa, Pul Doda, Drabshalla, Kandani and its adjoining areas of district Doda, Saroori said that Congress Party will soon setup and strengthen organisational structure up to booth level.
He advised the party leaders, workers and members to remain in touch with the people and strengthen the party at grass root level by taking the people on board.
He assured Congress Party workers that he along with Central and State leadership of Congress will fight neck to neck with them for the welfare of the people of State.
Reacting strongly on the recent transfers made by the State Government, Saroori suggested the Chief Minister that the transfer policy in Jammu and Kashmir should be on the basis of performance rather than giving emphasis on a particular community.
The government should make balance of both the communities and the focus should be on development and said Coalition Government (PDP-BJP) should not play dirty politics for pity benefits out of it.
