JAMMU: In a hard hitting statement against Congress leadership in J&K, Spokesperson J&K BJP, Senior Advocate Abhinav Sharma said that before allowing NC leader Dr Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti to be part of Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) it should clear its party’s stance on PAGD’s pro-Pak agenda and their take on Article 370.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP leader said that Congress Party leaders in J&K should recall what the Mehbooba Mufti has said over the special status provision of J&K way back in 2017 that no one will hold Tricolour if the Art 35A will be tinkered with.
He said that Congress seems to be doing exactly opposite to what it is projecting by the name of its country-long march Bharat Jodo Yatra as by allowing pro-Pak PDP and NC leadership into its rally, it is proving that the rally is contrary to integrating the country as in actual it has the tendency to break in pieces the country.
He asked the Congress leadership to revisit its decision as this could be detrimental for the country that one of the national parties joins hands with entities which brazenly support Pakistan on different occasions.
He said that after hard fight and pro-people policies, the Modi Government has ensured that dynastic politics do away in J&K but it seems that drenched with dynastic politics, the Congress is conspiring to undo the good work of BJP government by again reviving dynastic politics by partnering with NC and PDP just to ensure success of its so called Bharat Jodi Yatra.
He said that it is unfortunate that Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra which would enter Jammu and Kashmir on January 20 has no problem in making anti India and anti people forces like PDP and NC part of this so called tirade of the party to integrate India.
Sharma said it seems that the aforesaid Yatra is an attempt to revive the dynasty rule of three families I.e, Gandhi, Abdullah and Mufti in the country as well as in J&K also.
