Cong leaders condole demise of Farida Mir

JAMMU:  Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee on Monday condoled the demise of veteran Congress leader and former President Pradesh Mahila Congress Farida Mir, (former MLC), who expired on Sunday.

In a condolence meeting held at party headquarters here on Monday, the leaders expressed grief and shock over the demise of Farida Mir and described her as a dedicated and sincere solider of the party who devoted her entire life in the service of people and the Congress party.

She remained President State Mahila Congress and never shirked from any responsibility assigned to her by the party.

Two minutes silence was observed to pray for peace to the departed soul in the heaven and strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Prominent among those who condoled the death included Sham Lal Sharma, Senior Vice President PCC, Raman Bhalla, Vice President PCC; Ravinder Sharma, Chief Spokesman PCC, Yogesh Sawhney, Ch. K. Pangotra, Talentar Singh,   Lalita Sharma, B.B Gupta, Ch.
