JAMMU: “Confidence comes from discipline and training,” began Avneet Kour and Aarav of Grade 6 Galaxy as they, along with their classmates, conducted the morning assembly at JK Public School, Kunjwani. Avneet emphasized that self-esteem, reflecting how one values themselves, is crucial for developing self-belief, reducing self-doubt, and empowering decision-making. Aarav added that a strong sense of self-worth inspires people to pursue goals and persist through challenges. He noted, “Optimism is the faith of achievement, and nothing can be done without hope and confidence. Success is determined by self-confidence.”
Chaitanya Tripathi highlighted the role of confidence in facing uncertainty, describing it as a psychological anchor fostering resilience, creativity, and determination. Under the category of Quotations, Suryansh cited Jordyn Woods, saying, “Modeling really helps me find my confidence and break out of my shell.” Ranveer quoted Brian Tracy: “Whatever we expect with confidence becomes our self-fulfilling prophecy,” while Jasmine shared Timothy Weah’s insight, “Confidence is the key. Once you have it, you are unstoppable.”
Principal Rajesh Rathore appreciated the Grade 6 presenters for inspiring the audience and shared his perspective: “Confidence is the belief in yourself and your abilities. It pushes you to take on challenges, even when the outcome is uncertain. It is not about perfection but about trusting yourself to keep going.” He encouraged students to build confidence through new challenges and self-affirmation, concluding, “Confidence is the password to unlock your hidden potential.”
