JAMMU: All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association (AJKPA) appealed to the officials of Revenue Department to conduct the DPC of Girdawars and Patwaris without any delay.
AJKPA held a meeting here under the presidentship of Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai, Provisional President Jammu. The meeting was attended by all the district presidents of AJKPA of Jammu province. State President of AJKPA Raman Raj Sharma and State Secretary Kousar Niazi were invited as special guests.
Ganai demanded from the State Government to stop direct recruitment of Naib-Tehsildar, create posts of Girdwars in new administrative units, grade pay of 2013 batch of Patwaris, empower revenue Courts, Patwar Khanajats and a meeting hall for the association in Jammu etc.
Ganai also asked the government to redress their demands at the earliest. Raman Raj Sharma and Kousar Niazi also addressed the gathering.
