ANANTNAG: In pursuance with High Court orders of 18th December, 2014 titled Pahalgam People Welfare Organization v/s State and others, District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Tasaduq Jeelani convened a meeting of concerned officers here on Sunday.
After discussions District Development Commissioner directed all the concerned officers to ensure that no illegal constructions is allowed in Pahalgam and around 200 meter radius of river Liddar
A Complaint Cell headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner was established which will look into and disposal of the complaints regarding illegal constructions especially in Pahalgam.
The public in general and the Pahalgam Welfare Organisation in particular are informed to approach to the concerned Complaint Cell in case of any illegal constructions, he added.
District Development Commissioner directed the committee to dispose off the complaints after examining within a stipulated time frame of seven days.
District Development Commissioner revealed that no illegal construction will be allowed in any part of the district especially in Pahalgam and around the river banks.
