SRINAGAR: A meeting of the Committee on Public Undertakings was held under the Chairmanship of Rajiv Jasrotia in the J and K Legislative Assembly secretariat on Tuesday.
M.A Lone, Mohammad Yousaf Bhat, Asgar Ali Karbalai and Surinder Mohan attended the meeting.
The committee discussed the audit report pertaining to the Social Welfare Department and recommendations of earlier committees in this regard.
The Departmental representatives also explained their view point in the meeting and the committee decided to meet again on 23rd June.
The Committee also desired the concerned department to be fully prepared in the next meeting along with a detailed and point to point reply.
