Committee constituted to check littering of plastic waste on National Highway in J&K UT

JAMMU: The government on Wednesday constituted Committee for suggesting measures to check littering of plastic waste along the National Highway in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of Committee, for suggesting measures to check the littering of plastic waste along the National Highway in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads an order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department.
As per order, the committee will be headed by Administrative Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department as its Chairman
Administrative Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayti Raj Department; Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Director, Rural Development Department, Jammu, Director, Rural Development Department, Kashmir, Director, Rural Sanitation, J&K, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir will be its Members.
