JAMMU: Vigilance Awareness week is being observed in the Commissionerate of Income Tax, J and K, Jammu from 27th October to 1st November, 2014.
On the first day, the Commissioner of Income Tax, J and K Circle, A.K Thatai started the week by administering the pledge to all the officers and officials of Income Tax Office, Jammu.
All the officers and officials solemnly pledged that they shall continuously strive to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of their activities.
The officials also pledged that they shall work unstintingly for eradication of corruption in all spheres of life. They shall remain vigilant and work towards the growth and reputation of their organisation through their collective efforts; they shall bring pride to their organisations and provide value based service to their country. They shall do their duty conscientiously and act without fear and favour.
