JAMMU: Officers and Staff of Various Boards under Administrative control of the Social Welfare Department expressed their grief and sorrow over the death of elder sister of Mohammed Shafi Rather, Commissioner/ Secretary Social Welfare Department, who died on Tuesday.
A joint condolence meeting was held at Pragati Bhawan, Jammu, which was attended among others by the officers and officials of J and K State Social Welfare Board, J and K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Other Backward Classes, J and K State Advisory Board for Welfare of Scheduled Casts, J and K State Commission for Women and J and K State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People.
Two minutes silence was also observed and participants prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
