The meeting presided over by the President JKPCC G.A Mir was attended by senior leaders of the party including senior functionaries of PCC and legislators (MLA/MLCs).
The meeting viewed that the ongoing uncertainty over the formation of government in the State is the matter of great concern for the people as their day to day problems are getting compounded, as the Governor’s rule, howsoever best it may be , cannot be a substitute to a popular government. Although the Governor’s administration is taking all measures to deal with the day today problems of people, the Central Government has failed to honour its commitment with the people of the State to provide the required quota of ration as a result the situation has taken alarming proportion on this front compounded by strike of workers.
The Governor was also appealed to fully gear up the administrative machinery to deal with the day to day problems of the people in a more responsive and effective manner.
The party has asked its cadres to highlight the current problems of the people at the grass root levels and perform the role of bridge between the people and the administration to mitigate their problems.
The meeting also reviewed the organisational activities especially the ongoing membership drive and expressed great satisfaction over the overwhelming response received by party in all three regions of the State.
