JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday accorded the rank and privileges of a Cabinet Minister to Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister.
According to an official order, Nasir Aslam Wani will be entitled to a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.80,000. He will also be provided rent-free accommodation and transport facilities through the Motor Garages Department.
Nasir Aslam Wani is a senior leader of the National Conference and a close associate of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
