JAMMU: Member Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice (MPEJ) Kuldeep Kumar Rao on Saturday congratulated Mehbooba Mufti for her success in Anantnag Assembly bye-election and term it a historic opportunity to both PDP and BJP to fulfill the aspirations of the people of all the three regions irrespective of their caste, creed and colour to wipe out the stigma of communalism leveled by pseudo-secular NC and Congress on both the parties.
Rao anticipated that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will fulfill aspirations of the people by ensuring corruption free and commission free utilization of constituency development funds by the legislators.
Rao hoped that Mehbooba will take quick and daring action against the corrupt officials, bureaucrats and politicians. He also appealed to the State Government for restoring all snatched powers to State Accountability Commission incorporated in the Act of 2002.
