Chugh slams Rahul Gandhi for cosying up with Bangladesh infiltrators

DELHI/ PATNA: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday tore into the Rahul Gandhi-led padyatra in Bihar, saying that the photo-op padyatra with certain factions of INDI in fold is nothing but a campaign to protect the Bangladeshi infiltrators.
In a statement, Chugh questioned the morality of Rahul Gandhi, who occupies a constitutional position of being an LoP, to promote an anti-national narrative to safeguard the interests of illegal infiltrators.
Lauding the exercise being done by the Election Commission of India to filter the infiltrators out of the voting list, Chugh said the entire INDI group is bent upon building an anti-national narrative to play cheap politics of votes.
Chugh took strong exception to the remarks made by Rahul Gandhi to run down the pious image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother, which, he said, not only brought shame to the nation but also disgrace to the constitutional office that Rahul Gandhi occupies in the Lok Sabha.
Chugh said all through there has been a calculated exercise by Rahul Gandhi to build bonds with Pakistan and Bangladesh much against the national interests, which has simply exposed the anti-national credentials of the Congress, but to promote a pro-Bangladesh narrative in Bihar and Bengal.
