Chugh condemns attack on Kabul Gurdwara, demands security for minorities

CHANDIGARH: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Saturday strongly condemned attack on a Gurdwara near Kabul in which two persons were killed.
Chugh regretted that the entire premises of Gurdwara Dashmesh Pita Sahib was set on fire between cross battle security forces with militants.
He said about 25-30 Afghan Hindus and Sikhs were present in Gurdwara for their morning prayers. The security guard of the Gurdwara is said to be among those killed.
Chugh demanded that the Afghanistan government must provide adequate security to minorities and their worship places and said that it was highly reprehensible that due to internal strife minorities have been living in fear and uncertainty.
