KATHUA: Blaming Congress for building anti-national and divisive narrative along with the National Conference and the PDP, National General Secretary BJP & Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh on Monday said their anti people design has murdered democracy in J&K
“The candidature of all the Praja Parishad candidates was rejected and NC was forcibly thrust upon J&K”, Chug said while speaking at the concluding 2-day BJP State Working Committee meeting at Swargiya Ch. Chaggar Singh Sabhagar at Avalon Residency, Kathua.
Chugh said that BJP has 70 years long history of struggle and sacrifices to abrogate Article 370 in order to revive democracy and to give democratic rights to women, SCs, PoJK refugees, Gujjars and others.
Chugh said the misdeeds of parties like Congress, NC, PDP have made J&K as a terrorist hub, but now with the dedicated leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi there is new opportunity of development. He said the youth were looking up for the opportunities.
At the outset, Tarun Chugh paid tributes to Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose and narrated his important role in Indian freedom struggle.
Besides Tarun Chugh, others who addressed the meet include J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, Union MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma (former President), BJP Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood, former State Presidents Dr. Nirmal Singh (former Dy. CM), former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta and General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul.
BJP State Office Bearers, Morcha Presidents, Executive Body, Special Invitees, Department Incharges, Cell Convenors, former MLAs, former MLCs and other senior party leaders participated in the meeting.
Ravinder Raina in his Presidential address thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for unprecedented growth and development in Jammu & Kashmir and said that the region is witnessing major development under Modi government. He said that terrorist activities are on sharp decline in these years. Our brave security forces will soon eliminate all terrorists who are still taking innocent precious lives.
”BJP is ready for Assembly elections and will form the next government in J&K with absolute majority”, said Ravinder Raina and added that BJP has consistently secured more votes in every election held in J&K. He appreciated party activists in making BJP as a reckoning force in the region.
Raina said that Modi government has worked on principle of ”Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwaas”. He enumerated various public welfare schemes like PMAY, Swacch Bharat, e Shram cards, Pension schemes etc and their direct welfare benefits to the needy population.
Dr. Jitendra Singh spoke on the historical discourse of BJP. He said that earlier Jana Sangha and then BJP led truly Bharat Jodo Yatra in the past with a clear intention of uniting the whole Nation. BJP’s Yatras were forcibly crushed, leaders jailed even sacrificing our greats like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee by Congress led governments. He added that the world is ready to be led by India, but we must also prepare to accept the stage.
Ashok Koul discussed the organizational matters to strengthen the party in all Mandals up to booths. He also discussed the details of forthcoming party programmes and asked all the leaders to ensure party programmes with involvement of ground activists.

Ashish Sood asked all BJP leaders to pledge to contribute in Nation’s development on birth Anniversary of Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose. He said that Congress’ so called Bharat Jodo Yatra entered J&K on 19th January when J&K was destructed by Congress and the innocent Kashmiris were driven out of their homes in Kashmir.

Kavinder Gupta read statement on the security scenario in J&K. He said that J&K has continuously bore the burnt of separatism and terrorism since 1947 but now that dark era has come to an end with the abrogation of controvertial Article 370.
Jugal Kishore Sharma presented the political resolution after which suggestions on the issues were sought. The resolution was seconded by Dr. Jitendra Singh and Dr. Nirmal Singh which was later adopted after necessary changes.
General Secretary Vibodh Gupta elaborated on the importance of listening Mann Ki Baat among the masses. HE said that issues of public importance are taken in the programme and local heroes are picked up and their stories shared to boost others.
General Secretary Dr. Devinder Manyal elaborated on the Vidhan Sabha Pravas Yojana of the party. He said that the party has allotted Convenors, Incharges and whole timers in the teams.
Former MLA Rajiv Sharma provided details of the visits by MPs in the Lok Sabha Pravas programmes. HE asked the party leaders to get the most of their contributions in developing Lok Sabha constituencies.
Arun Dev Jamwal presented report of Pariksha Pe Charcha programmes. He said that the programme focusses on preparing children for exams and their future.
Adv. Ishant Gupta presented innovative ways of using Information Technology in Political system. He said that today world has gone digital and we must also adopt to change.
Earlier, Meeting began with the lighting of Traditional Lamp and recitation of an organisational Song and Vande Mataram bye Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
