UDHAMPUR: To promote volleyball in rural area and search the youngest talented players of volleyball, Volleyball Association of District Udhampur on Wednesday organized a exhibition match at Chiryai, 27 km away from Udhampur city.
The match played between Dhannu Volleyball Club and Chiryai Volleyball Club in which Chiryai Club beat Dhannu Club by straight 2-0 (25-18, 25-23) sets. On the occasion, Surista Sarpanch Panchayat Dhannu was the Chief Guest, Shama Devi Principal HSS Cherayi was the Guest of Honoor and other prominent guests from various Panchayats, staff members of Higher Secondary School were also witnessed the match. The Chief Guest distributed the prizes among the winner and runner-up teams. The match was officiated by Jagdish Kumar PET and Akshit Sharma. The match was played under the guidance of Kuldeep Sharma PEM HSS Cherayi and supervision of Ashok Pada President VADU and Amit Chander Singh Secretary.
