In this festive season, there is a plethora of advice from leaders of all kinds to boycott Chinese goods. Social media is abound with similar patriotic messages. And it seems with that their patriotism ends. Such appeals and suggestions cannot be implemented easily. So far, there is not a single message or direction from leaders, saying ‘Do not sell Chinese goods’. Only if shopkeepers and businessmen stop displaying and selling Chinese goods, will this appeal work. They have already procured ample stocks of Chinese items and would want to naturally sell these.
