Poonch: The District Head of the Education Department while issuing directions to the Heads of Schools has asked them to complete a task by 31st February, 2017 date which will never come into existence.
The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Poonch Choudhary Lal Hussain in his letter No CEO/P/36000-04 dated 17th February, 2017 addressed to selected Principals and Headmasters with copies to Principal Secretary, Director School Education Jammu, Private Secretary to Minister for Education and Nodal Officer Herbal Gardens Poonch, has asked the Principals of Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSS) and Headmasters Government High Schools (GHS) Poonch to establish Herbal Gardens and complete the plantation work out of local funds by 31st February, 2017.
Number of addressees pointed out that the month of February will end with 28 days while the students and commoners were disappointed of the knowledge of authorities in Education Department.
