JAMMU: Asking that that due the damage of 33 KV power transmission line due to bad weather and heavy snow which has plunged Padder Kishtwar in darkness, National Conference (NC) leader and Chairman Pahari Development Forum (PDF), Thakur Kartar Singh Rathore on Sunday appealed to the government to repair the transmission line on war footing so that public may not suffer any more.
In a handout issued today, Rathore also demanded for opening of Kishtwar-Padder and Gulab Garh-Pangi Roads which have also been blocked due to snow fall, airlifting of standard passengers on the Padder, Mahial, Gandhari, Dachhen, Marwah and Warwan, ensuring of the proper supply of kerosene oil, LPG, ration and other essential commodities etc.
He also impressed upon the government to depute the veterinary doctors to Kijai, Affani, Kartahi to diagnose the animals who have been suffering from different ailments.
