UDHAMPUR: A meeting of all the head of the institutions who are participating in Republic Day celebration was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Bishan Singh Chief Education Officer Udhampur at Govt. M.L Higher Secondary School Boys Udhampur.
A road map for the cultural items, parade was designed in the meeting. Chief Education Officer has given the advice to all the participants that the cultural programme should be related with the Constitution of India so that the importance of the day can be communicated to the hearts of the young generation and a sense of respect for Constitution can also be developed.
Chief Education Officer also revealed that as per the direction of District Development Commissioner all the institution participating the Republic Day Parade will start their rehearsal at Sports Stadium Udhampur from 15th Jan 2016. Cultural items will be prepared in the institution and a screening committee will be constituted to see the standard of the same. The final rehearsal will be performed on 24th Jan 2016 at Govt. Degree College Boys Udhampur ground which is the main venue of the Republic Day Celebration.
R. K Gupta Deputy Chief Education Officer and Sunil Sharma Principal Govt Hr. Sec. School Boys Udhampur were also present in the meeting.
