Celebration of Vigilance Awareness Week Continues

DODA: District administration Doda in collaboration with Vigilance organisation Jammu (VOJ) organises an awareness programme to mark   “Vigilance Awareness Week”.

District Development Commissioner   Bhawani Rakwal was the Chief Guest  and ADC Mohammad Hanief Malik -the District Vigilance officer chaired the awareness programme.

SSP Mohammad Shabir, DySP Vigilance organisation Kartar Kotwal, Departmental Vigilance officer, besides others District Officers including DDOs of various departments attended the programme.

Earlier, Dy SP VOJ gave a power point presentation on the aim  and objectives of the vigilance awareness week.

KISHTWAR: In connection with observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, a programme on the theme My Vision Corruption Free India was organised by District administration Kishtwar in collaboration with Vigilance Organisation Jammu (VOJ).

Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, was the Chief Guest, while ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal -the   District Vigilance Officer chaired the awareness programme.

The programme was attended by senior government functionaries including departmental heads, Drawing Disbursing officers and Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs).

Speaking on the occasion, the District Development Commissioner   stressed upon the need for collective efforts to eradicate the menace of corruption.

During the programme, the participants were made aware about importance of Vigilance Awareness Week.

Meanwhile, vigilance organisation  Jammu gave a Power Point presentation   on the theme “My Vision Corruption Free India”. The programme ended with a pledge of integrity to initiate the process of eradication of corruption.

Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme ‘My Vision-Corruption Free India’ organised in Pakal Dul Hydro Electric Project, Kishtwar concluded on Friday with prize distribution among the participants. Earlier the programme started with the pledge by all employees taken through S.H Zarger, General Manager. Competitions like debate, slogan writing and essay competition were organised amongst the participants/employees of the Pakal Dul Project as per schedule prescribed by Chief Vigilance Officer, CVPP Ltd.  All the employees of Pakal Dul Project participated in the awareness programme. B.L Aswal, Chief Engineer(Civil) Pakal Dul Hydro Electric Project was the Chief Guest and while vote of thanks was presented by Rishi Kumar, Assistant Manager (Vigilance) CVPP Corporate office.

KATHUA : In a series of programmes to celebrate Vigilance Awareness Week, Lead Bank Office, State Bank of India, Kathua organised a symposium on a theme ‘My Vision – Corrpution Free India’ in collaboration with Govt Degree College (Boys), Kathua for its students to create awareness amongst the younger citizens motivating them to work for promotion of honest and efficient dealings across the country.

In his introductory address Prof. Sumnesh , highlighted the achievements of SBI and dwelt at length on prevalent corruption in all spheres of life, also provided some tips to students on a roadmap towards corruption free India.

S.K Kandroo, LDM SBI Kathua, in his address exhorted upon students to be fair and fearless.

Madan Lal, DDM NABARD,  reminded the younger citizens of PM’s call for Young India.  Prof. K C Badgal, Principal Govt Degree College Kathua, appreciated the initiative of SBI for organising such programmes.

Pledge of Honesty and Integrity was administered by  A K Koul, FLCC SBI, to all the participants of the programme present on the occasion.

The programme was compered by Prof. Shikha. A jury comprising of three judges Prof P k Rao, Prof. Nirmal Narayan and Prof. Rakesh Singh assessed the speakers and Aditya Tickoo, Abhimanyu Singh and Harneet Kour secured first, second and third position respectively. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Rajesh Chalotra.
