CCI welcome LG’s decision to provide 5 marlas land to landless families

JAMMU: A meeting of the office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) was held on Tuesday at Chamber House under the Presidentship of Arun Gupta.
The meeting appreciated the decision of the government to provide 5 marlas land to the landless families to construct their houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.
Arun Gupta said that Prime Minister is keen to provide all basic essential facilities to the poor and the needy people whether it is education, Medical facility or other house hold things.
Arun further said that though as per information 2711 landless families who do not have any kind of shelter have been provided plots and we are sure that under the a guidance of the LG the poor and needy landless people will be provided cash assistants to construct their houses.
Further the Chamber appreciates the arrangements made by the administration for smooth, comfortable and hassle free pilgrimage of holy Shri Amarnath.
Arun Gupta also said that the traffic movement on the national highway needs to be monitored at the highest level as due to long traffic jams pilgrims and other commuters are facing lot of problems to reach their destinations.
