JAMMU: The meeting of the Scrutinizing Committee comprising of Shiv Partap Gupta Election President, Manmohan Singh, Vijay Gupta, Kulbhushan Gupta and Anil Gupta was held at Chamber House, here.
The Scrutinizing Committee after through scrutiny of the nomination papers of the 15 candidates contesting for various Posts of office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry were found valid.
Nomination papers of Arun Gupta and Rakesh Gupta were found valid for the post of President; Anil Gupta, Rajinder Gupta and Surinder Mahajan for the post of Senior Vice President; Ashu Gupta and Rajiv Gupta (Kaka) for the post of Junior Vice President; Ajay Langer, Deepak Aggarwal and Manish Gupta for the post of Secretary General; Rajesh Gupta, Raj Gupta and Mukesh Gupta for the post of Secretary; and Manik Gupta and Rajesh Gupta for the post of Treasurer.
The contesting candidates were given a copy of Code of Conduct for canvassing during election and they were requested to strictly adhere too with code of conduct.
The election shall be conducted on 23rd April 2023 at Royal Park, Greater Kailash, Jammu.
