CCI condemns Ganderbal terror attack

JAMMU: In the meeting of the Office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) Arun Gupta strongly condemned the cowardice act of firing by the terrorists in the mess of a private construction company working on Z-Morh tunnel at Gagangir area of Sonamarg in Ganderbal district in which a Doctor, six construction workers were killed and five others were critically injured.
A two minutes silence was observed to pay homage to the departed souls. Meeting also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured persons and also conveyed sympathies with the families of the departed soul.

Arun Gupta said that the militants and their harborers are perturbed and worried with the returning of peace and normalcy in J&K which is evident from the participation of public in the recently concluded assembly elections and subsequently formation of popular government. He also said that Chamber is of firm belief that the people shall not be influenced and get trapped in their nefarious designs and shall uphold the credentials of secularism.
Arun Gupta urged upon the administration that the terrorists, their harbores and supporters should be identified and eliminated to make Jammu and Kashmir a terrorism free UT. He also urged upon the world community to censor Pakistan who openly supports and promotes terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The other office bearers present in the meeting include Sh. Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President, Sh. Rajeev Gupta, Jr. Vice President, Sh. Manish Gupta, Secretary General and Sh. Rajesh Gupta, Treasurer.
