JAMMU: Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) on Saturday accorded farewell to Uttam Chand, who has recently been elevated to the rank of DIG and posted as DIG Baramulla and also welcomed Sunil Gupta, on his assuming the charge of SSP Jammu.
In a function organised at Chamber House here, CCI members presented bouquets to the dignitaries.
President CCI, Rakesh Gupta appreciated the efforts and the services of Uttam Chand as SSP Jammu. He also presented a souvenir to Uttam Chand as a token of love.
Uttam Chand thanked the office bearers of CCI and the members of the business community for their support extended to him during his tenure as SSP Jammu.
Besides the office bearers of CCI namely Sham Lal Langer Senior Vice President, Deepak Aggarwal Vice President, Ashu Gupta Treasurer, the meeting was attended by the Presidents and General Secretaries of different Bazaar/Trade Associations and the Senior Executive Members of CCI.
