JAMMU: The Special Crime Wing of the Crime Branch (CB) Jammu has charge-sheeted three individuals in fraud case.
As per a Crime Branch spokesperson, a written complaint was lodged against one Kulbir Singh who with criminal intention showed the complaint a piece of land told her that he is the owner of the same and is selling it in the shape of plots. Accordingly, the deal was finalized for Rs. 15 lakhs of one plot and a proper agreement to sell was dully executed between Kulbir Singh and the complainant’s son. But the accused could not provide proper and genuine documents and possession of the land.
After receiving the complaint, spokesperson said, a preliminary verification was conducted, and the fraud was found to have been committed, accordingly, a case FIR No. 02/2022 U/S 420, 465, 471, 468, 120-B RPC was registered at Police Station Crime Branch, Jammu for in-depth investigation.
After a thorough investigation by the I/O, spokesperson said, the case was finally proved against the accused person namely Kulbir Singh and his associate Babu Singh, Resident of Sidher R.S Pura Jammu and offence under Sections 420, 465, 471, 468, 120-B RPC got established.
A team of Special Crime Wing of Crime Branch Jammu produced the accused persons before the Court of Sub- Judge Special Mobile Magistrate Jammu and presented the charge-sheet for judicial determination on December 16, 2024, spokesperson said adding that the case has been thoroughly investigated by inspector, Nisar Ahmad under the supervision of Sanjay Parihar SSP Crime Branch (SCW) Jammu.
