CB books 2 including teacher for duping innocent people of providing Govt jobs
Total 10 FIRs registered, history sheet, personal file opened against Govt teacher

JAMMU: Crime Branch (CB) on Thursday booked two accused, including a notorious fraudster Teacher for duping innocent people on the pretext of providing government jobs.
“Among two accused booked in two separate cases registered in CB included notorious fraudster Jameel Anjum, son of Nasir Ahmad, resident of Ustad Mohalla, Jammu against whom ten cases have been registered in Police Station EOW, SCW and Pacca Danga Jammu out of which three cases stand challaned in the court of law whereas seven cases are still under investigation,” a CB official said.
A “History Sheet” has also been registered against accused government school Teacher Jameel Anjum at Police Station Pacca Danga Jammu, the official added.
Besides, one “Personal File” under rules has been opened by Crime Branch against this notorious fraudster involved in series of cases of criminal conspiracies, frauds, cheating, forgery and impersonation, official said adding that he has been booked on the written complaint of Rashid Manhas from Gujjar Nagar Jammu who alleged that he had been duped of huge amount and gold items by this fraudster Teacher on the pretext of providing Govt jobs him and to his sister.
Another accused, booked for duping innocent complainant Sunil Kumar from Suchetgarh, Jammu on the pretext of providing Govt job, is Masroor Ahmad, son of Mohd Shabir, resident of Ghambir Moghla, District Rajouri.
Senior Superintendent of Police Crime Jammu Benam Tosh confirmed that two separate cases : case FIR No. 15/2025 and case FIR No.16 /2025 have been registered to conduct thorough investigations.
