NOWSHERA : The cattle shed of one Mohd Shafi son of Mohd Din resident of Ward No 3, Nowshera caught fire due to which number of live stocks were charred to death.
According to report the shed (Kulla) caught fire during the intervening night of 30/31st December, 2016 and villagers immediately informed the Fire Brigade. Though the fire tenders reached the spot, yet the shed was gutted and live stocks including two buffaloes, five goats and 10 poultry birds died.
On receipt of information the Tehsildar Nowshera Mohd Riaz reached the spot and asked the officials of Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry Dept to visit the spot and provide treatment to the injured live stock.
