BHADARWAH: A seminar on career counselling was organised by District Police Doda in University Campus Bhadarwah under Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2014-15 on Saturday. Students from University Campus Bhadarwah, Govt Degree College Bhadarwah and Hr. Secondary School Bhadarwah participated in the seminar in which Shyam Vinod Meena, DC Doda was the Chief Guest and Prof. G.M Bhat, Rector, University Campus Bhadarwah was the Guest of Honour.
Shalinder Mishra AIG (CIV) PHQ J and K Jammu, Resource Person from Police Department threw light on prominent themes like how to improve student’s performance during interviews and comparing various career options available to them. Question answer session also conducted in which various students put queries to the panelist for choosing the career options.
Shyam Vinod Meena, DC Doda and Mohd. Sharief Chouhan, SSP Doda also exhorted upon students to make their own aspirations, develop positive attitude towards their career and be focused on the framed curriculum besides hard work on their academic education. Staff members and students present in the seminar appreciated the gesture of police to take initiative in organising such programmes.
On the occasion, SSP Doda presented mementos to the Deputy Commissioner Doda, Rector, University Campus Bhaderwah and Shalinder Mishra-IPS AIG (CIV) PHQ J and K Jammu as a token of respect.
