BANI: People on Bani on Wednesday accorded warm reception to Rajnesh Sharma ( Mian) for being nominated as Congress candidate for Bani Constituency.
A large number of people gathered at Bani Bus Stand and garlanded him on his arrival. After that a meeting was organised by Congress leaders and workers at Mela Ground Bani in which people from Bhandaar, Duggan , Fatehpur, Roulka, Daulka, Khadar, Kilod,Dhaggar, Bari, Dalangal, Dhaula, Khadwa, Lowhang,Chandayar , Panayalak, Koti,Banjal, Siara, Sarthali, Sitti etc. participated.
Speakers on the occasion welcomed the decision of Congress high command to field the Rajnesh Sharma (Mian) as Congress candidate from Bani Assembly constituency.
Block President Congress Bani Thakur Das and Master Chet Ram Block President Duggan appealed to the people to vote in favour of Rajnesh Sharma ( Mian ) for the development of Bani adding that the Congress is the only party which works for the uplift of backward people.
Rajnesh Sharma in his address said that he is working in the area of Bani for the last four years and is aware of problems of poor and backward people of this hilly terrain. “My priority is to work on the road connectivity, and will focus on Bani -Dhaggar, Bani-Bhandaar, Bani-Roulka-Dandi Kutu, Machedi-Sadrota-Banjal Batwal Roads” Rajnesh said.
