Cancels transfer orders of Saugat Biswas, Yasha Mudgal

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has issued an official order partially modifying its earlier directive dated 17th October 2024, concerning the transfer of two IAS officers under the AGMUT cadre.
According to the latest order (No. 15041/05/2023-UTS.I), the proposed transfers of Saugat Biswas, IAS (AGMUT: 2006) from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu & Kashmir, and Yasha Mudgal, IAS (AGMUT: 2007) from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry, have been cancelled. The rest of the contents in the original order remain unchanged.
The decision was taken with the approval of the Competent Authority, as per the order signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary, Government of India.
The communication has been addressed to the concerned officers through the respective Chief Secretaries of Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. Copies have also been sent to the Chief Secretaries of Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, and Puducherry, along with the relevant personal and guard files.
This modification indicates administrative continuity in the regions involved, maintaining the current assignments of the officers.
