JAMMU: The State Cabinet is likely to meet at the Civil Secretariat on Monday at Srinagar.
Sources told STATE TIMES that the cabinet will affect several transfers in the police and civil departments. Besides the shifting of district SSPs, the cabinet is likely to shift several Deputy Commissioners across the State.
According to sources, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Ajit Sahu is likely to be posted to Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMDSB). Chief Executive Officer of the Board Dr Mandeep Bhandari may get important assignment in the government.
Three senior IAS officers Dheeraj Gupta, Naveen Choudhary and R K Goyal, who are awaiting their postings after return from central deputation, are also likely to be adjusted.
