BUTA defers strike till Sept 16

RAJOURI: Following natural calamity in the State, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University teachers have defer their indefinite strike till 16th September and have again pressed on administration to mitigate their demand if they want the university to function smoothly. In a Press Statement, Mir Aijaz, President of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Teaching Association (BUTA) has said that whole State has been engulfed by natural calamity and their is huge loss of lives and property. He said that on humanitarian matter, they have decided to defer their strike till 16th September, 2014 adding that his association has also condoled the demise of people who lost lives in the flood and also expressed shock over loss of property. However association said that they are confronting large number of issues which remain unsettled in the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University as administration is paying no heed to their demands.
The teaching fraternity of the university has expressed disappointment with university administration with regard to unnecessary delay in implementing of approval by Vice-Chancellor.
Moreover it is again impressed upon the university administration to implement the already resolved issues without any academic loss of students.
