Burglary cases solved; 4 arrested, stolen property recovered

BARAMULLA: Police on Monday solved two burglary cases by arresting 4 accused involved in burglary cases and recovered stolen property worth lakhs from their possession.
As per details, during investigation of FIR No. 240/2022 registered at Police Station Pattan in which household items were taken away by burglars, Investigating officers led by Incharge Police Post Mirgund, after putting in strenuous efforts, arrested three burglars identified as Aijaz Ahmad Malla, son of Gh Mohd Malla, Syed Ubaid Shah, son of Syed Mustafa Shah and Zaffar Hussain Wani, son of Nisar Ahmad Wani, all residents of Yakhmanpora, Pattan. On their disclosure stolen property including copper utensils, shoes, gold ring and cash were recovered.
Similarly, during investigation of FIR No. 233/2022 registered at Police Station Pattan, the investigating officers led by Incharge Police Post Palhalan arrested an accused namely Umar Ahmad Khanday, son of Gh Mohammad Khanday, resident of Khanday Mohalla Pattan. On his disclosure, stolen property including copper utensils and water pumps were also recovered.
