MENDHAR: Taking benefit of the situation in which the ailing house owner, a BJP leader and President Sanatan Dharam Sabha Satish Chander Sharma, went to Jammu for his treatment, burglars barged into his house at Mendhar and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees.
His neighbourers and relatives reported the matter to Mendhar Police which visited the spot and took cognisance of the theft.
Besides this theft the burglars also struck at two more houses during the same night which have also been visited by the police and took a note of it for investigation.
