On behalf of inhabitants and MGNREGA workers of Ward No. 08, 09 and 10 in village Kalaban, Tehsil Mendhar, District Poonch, I want to bring the malpractices going on in the office of BDO Mendhar and also by the subordinate staff serving in this office.
The Village Level Workers (VLW) and Secretary of this office are playing vital role in promotion of corruption in this office, as the MGNREGA fund is totally misutilised. The deserving and genuine persons are not getting their due right of employment and earnings under this scheme and the non-deserving persons, outsiders and even some persons who are putting up in Saudi Arabia are being paid the wages under MGNREGA Scheme. Even the government employees like Class IV and others are providing benefits to their blue eyed persons by conniving with such corruption officials of BDO Mendhar.
When the matter was brought into the notice of BDO Mendhar, he directed us to contact VLW and Secretary Panchayat for redressal of grievances, but when they were contacted they openly declared that BDO is not functioning accordingly without taking bribe from the subordinate staff as well as MGNREGA workers.
The whole matter is required to be properly investigated, the whole record is required to be seized by the Vigilance Organisation and truth be made to public for justification in the matter.
