Bukhari assures early redressal of ReT teachers issues

JAMMU: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum led by its State Chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantary met Education Minister Altaf Bukhari and apprised him of the problems being faced by the ReT teachers.
The delegation submitted a memorandum of demands to the minister. The delegation demanded clearance of pending salaries, transfer of regularized ReT teachers, regularization of EV surplus ReTS, revoking of recent screening test for promotion and enhancing of honorarium upto Rs 10,000. Tantry also took up the issue of vacant DDO posts (ZEOs) which hammers the smooth functioning of the department in many education zones.
The education minister Altaf Bukhari
gave patient hearing to the deputation and committed to end all the woes of ReT teaching community. He assured the salaries of ReT teachers will be released in couple of weeks.
The delegation comprised of General Secretary Jahangir Alam Khan, Mohammad Iqbal Bhat, Majid Marouphay, Assadullah Wani, Talib Hussian, Aftab Tantary, Hamid Nabaz, Rajiesh Paul Singh, Bhadur Singh, Farooq Rounyal, Bashir Parryu, Farooq Ahmed Itoo, Ishaq Rashid, Bashir Ahmed, Khumriyal, Mohammad Yaqoob, Javid Chohan, M.M Pathan, Javid Gul, Kerpal Sumria, Gh Hussian Bhat, Atab Malik and Sajad Ahmed.
