JAMMU: Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali on Wednesday issued the provisional calendar for the 115th Session of the Legislative Council.
As per the Provisional Calendar, starting from 2nd January, 2017 with Governor’s Address to Joint Session of the Legislature, the House sittings would continue till 4th February, 2017.
As per the calendar, discussion on Motion of Thanks on Governor’s address and reply thereto will be held on 3rd, 4th and 10th January. Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure for 2017-2018 and Presentation of Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for 2016-2017 will be on 9th January, 2017. The general discussion on budget will be held on 11th, 12th, 16th and 17th January ending with reply thereto.
As per the calendar the Government Business will be held on 18th, 23rd January and 1st February and Discussion on Working of Ministry will be held on 19th and 31st January and 2nd February, 2017. Private Members Bills will be taken up on 20th and 27th January, 2017. Private Members Resolutions on 24th January and 3rd February. There will be Government Business on 4th February if any, the calendar issued says.
