Budget focused on welfare of poor, progress, development: Chugh

JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday described the interim budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as focused on welfare of poor besides development and progress oriented.
“This budget has vision for Ram Rajya and it cares about the women and poor”, Chugh said in a statement, adding that it also has the commitment of a developed India and talks about achieving the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
He said the budget is committed to welfare of poor, upliftment of farmers, honour of women folk and happiness of youth.
“I, on behalf of crores of the BJP workers, thank and congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her entire team for giving us such a progressive budget, which cares for welfare and upliftment of all sections of our country”, he said.
Chugh said that Prime Minister Modiji has toiled hard to during the past about ten years to bring over 25 lakh people out of the poverty line while the country has broken all the records of growth and development under his dynamic leadership. This budget also lays the strong foundation of making a developed India, he added.
