Lucknow, Nov 3 (PTI) Bahujan Samaj Party national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Akhilesh Das today resigned from the party.
In his resignation letter, sent to BSP president Mayawati, Das said he is resigning from the primary membership of the party and all its post with immediate effect, a release issued by the spokesman of Das, Sushil Dube, said.
The Rajya Sabha term of Das is coming to an end this month.
