BSP holds anti-govt protest in Kathua
Kathua (J-K):- Bahujan Samaj Party activists today held a day-long protest against the PDP-BJP coalition government for alleged failure in addressing the grievances of the people of the state.
“The state government has failed to address the genuine grievances of the people of the state who have been left in the lurch to suffer,” BSP state president Tarsem Kumar Khullar said.
Chanting anti-government slogans, the BSP activists also burnt the effigy of the coalition government.
Accusing the government of ignoring the plight of downtrodden, Khullar said, “We demand justice for the Dalits who have been ignored by the state and the Central government”.
The BSP leader alleged that the policies of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed are soft on anti-national forces and said that ISIS flags were being hoisted in Kashmir which was a very dangerous trend.
