JAMMU: Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday organized a super specialty medical camp at Frontier HQ BSF, Paloura here.
The camp was organised under the directions of D.K Upadhyaya, Inspector General BSF Jammu Frontier. The camp was inaugurated by Ram Awtar DIG IPSO Frontier Jammu.
Dr K.S Kumar, Commandant (Medical) presented welcome address.
Ram Awtar DIG/PSO emphasised that to prevent the incidences of cardiovascular diseases one has to change the life style and take precautions as advised by the doctors.
Dr Ujwal Mehrotra, Cardiologist of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Narayana Hospital Katra, advised the BSF personnel to avoid cardiovascular diseases by taking preventive measures rather than taking treatment.
In the camp, Dr Ujwal examined 180 patients and provided them super specialized treatment.
Dr Atul Gupta, Dr. Mandeep Singh and Dr. Suman Sharma rendered their services under the supervision of Dr. K.S Kumar, Commandant (Medical) in making the medical camp a grand success.
Sanjay Singh Gahlot, DIG (Prov), Dharmendra Pareek, DIG (General), Sukhdev Raj, Commandant, 200 Bn BSF and Rajeev Agnihotri, Commandant, 127 Bn BSF graced the occasion.
